PLANE CRASH TRAINING EXERCISE MONDAY AUGUST 26TH Officials with the Springfield Airport Authority, Sherman Police and Emergency Management as well as Sherman Fire Protection District and over 30 local, state, federal and private agencies to conduct a response to a simulated aircraft accident on Monday, August 26th, 2019. This drill meets Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport’s Federal Aviation Administration mandate to conduct a full-scale exercise once every three years. We believe the exercise went real well. It provided your 1st Responders, as well as our partners, a great opportunity to practice a large scale mass casualty incident.
