POLICIES

Search Policy

All visitors and their items are subject to search at any time before entering or while at the venue by security and/or police personnel.  

Bag/Stroller Policy

There are no restrictions on the size of bags brought into the venue nor stroller/carts entering the facility. All bags are subject to search by venue operators, security and police personnel.

Age Restrictions

The venue is family friendly and encourages families to come out and enjoy an evening together. All ages are permitted in the venue. Unless otherwise stated, 14 and under free admission (with adult paid admission and attendance).

Items Prohibited

For the safety and security of all guests, the following items are NOT permitted in the venue:

  • Alcoholic Beverages Cans/Bottles
  • Outside Food/Beverage, Personal Beverage Containers
  • Fireworks, Laser Pointers
  • Skateboards, Bicycles
  • Picnic Baskets, Coolers, Aerosol Cans
  • Firearms, Weapons (including knives)
  • Any other item deemed dangerous or inappropriate.

Concealed Handgun License Policy

Under Illinois law, the venue is classified as a government building and pursuant to Illinois’ Concealed Carry Law NO FIREARMS are permitted in the venue.

Rain Policy

All concerts are held, rain or shine. Guests are encouraged to dress for the weather. The Amp reserved the right to interrupt or delay any performance. Should we need to evacuate the facility for severe weather, appropriate announcements will be made. Delays will be posted to our social media sites. If a performance cannot go on as scheduled, and if possible every attempt will be made to reschedule the performance.

Refund/Resale Policy

All purchases are final. No refunds will be given. Every attempt will be made to reschedule the performance with the performance group if possible.

Permitted Items/Food & Beverage Policy

  • Guests may bring standard size camp chairs (no recliners, rockers, canopies, footrests, love seats or couches), blankets (no larger than 5’ x 6’), binoculars, baby strollers/carts.  Standard personal size umbrellas are permitted but guests will be asked to take them down if it causes issue with other guests viewing of performance.  
  • Guests are prohibited from bringing in any food or drinks of any kind unless purchased from the venue.
  • The venue reserves the right to refuse service to those guests who are, or appear to be, intoxicated. Alcohol is available for people 21 or older. You must show current, valid federal/state ID (driver’s license, State ID, passport etc.) as proof of age and by wearing a wristband or other stamp noting over 21. Guests who do not display the venue required stamp or wristband for over 21 will not be served alcoholic beverages. Guests caught drinking alcohol without proper stamp or wristband are subject to removal from the venue.
  • Concession sales end approximately ½ hour before the end of the final performance.

Smoking Policy

  • Smoking (including vaping) is permitted in the outdoor venue with conditions. If a fellow guest asks the smoker to not smoke then the smoking guest must comply or be subject to removal.  
  • Smoking in restrooms, amphitheater or other closed structures is PROHIBITED. Smoking in the kids’ play area IS PROHIBITED.

Dog/Pet Policy

  • The venue is pet friendly. Dogs are permitted in the venue. Dogs must always be on a leash and in direct control by the owner. Owners are required to clean up after their pet and dispose of properly. Dog(s) and owner(s) are subject to removal at the will of the venue.
  • Dogs/Pets are NOT allowed in the playground area.

Re-Entry Policy

Guests choosing to exit the venue for any reason may re-enter if they have their required admission wristband. All policies apply to people re-entering including search by security or police personnel.

Disruptive/Unruly Guests

The venue is a family friendly environment. All guests are to always maintain themselves in the best behavior and refrain from conduct, activity or speech that is inappropriate or disruptive to other guests. Guests disrupting others’ enjoyment or causing issue will be removed from the venue. NO REFUND WILL BE ALLOWED.

ADA Accessibility

  • All facilities (including the playground) are wheelchair accessible. 
  • ADA accessible parking is designated closest to the venue entrance. All parking is FREE. Vehicles found parking in the ADA parking area without the appropriate placards or license plate will be towed at the owner’s expense and subject to a fine.
  • Wheelchair seating is available and marked as such. See Venue Map for locations. Only wheelchairs are permitted in these areas.
  • For additional or special assistance, please call 217-496-2621 no less than 48 hours in advance of the event date. The venue staff will work with you to accommodate your needs.
