NOTE: THE VILLAGE OF WILLIAMSVILLE WATER DEPARTMENT PROVIDES WATER SERVICE AND REPAIR FOR THE VILLAGE OF SHERMAN
Originally, the Villages of Sherman and Williamsville combined efforts through a Water District with the mission to improve the quality of water service in our communities. Utmost was to ensure there was enough water pressure to permit proper fire protection from our fire hydrants as well as to make sure all residents can be served by a reliable, treated system. The Village of Sherman contracted with the Village of Williamsville to handle our service since they already had an established billing system and personnel dedicated to work on the water system. Because of this, inquiries and service calls are handled by the Village of Williamsville Water Department.
