Mayor Clatfelter is a supporter of reaching out and communicating with all Sherman residents, neighborhood associations, special interest groups, local business, civic, club and related organizations to address critical Village matters such as policing, public safety, emergency response, economic (commercial) and residential development, infrastructure (roads,trails,sewer), parks and recreation development and other areas of interest. 

Mayor Clatfelter has encouraged implementation of “guest speaker initiative” or “community outreach program” with the Village Police Department, Emergency Management Department, Administration and Public Works.
