SFC Hollinshead served as the Non-Commissioned Officer in charge of the Casualty Operations Branch since October 2017. SFC Hollinshead’s career spans over 23 years of service with the Illinois Army National Guard, which includes 20 years of full-time service to this organization. He enlisted into the 623rd Personnel Services Detachment in 1997 serving as an Information Services Operator. After reaching the rank of Sergeant, he began his full-time career with the State Area Command (STARC-) serving as the Personnel Management NCO in the Military Personnel Office. Since then, SFC Hollinshead has served in many staff positions to include the Personnel Records Supervisor in the Military Personnel Office, the Readiness NCO for the Recruit Sustainment Program, and the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of Casualty Operations. SFC Hollinshead mobilized with ISAF A12 in 2013 and 2014 to Afghanistan, serving as the Property Book Non-Commissioned Officer during the establishment of the Recruit Sustainment Program under the Illinois Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Command. His Military education includes 25B Information Technology Specialist, 42A Human Resources Specialist, 25U Signal Support Systems Specialist, 79T Recruiting and Retention NCO, Army Instructor Training Course, and Casualty Notification and Casualty Assistance Officer T3T Training Course. He has also graduated with honors from Ashford University with a BA in Organizational Management. SFC Hollinshead has received several rewards, decorations, and citations throughout his career.
