On Tuesday, April 5th, local Girl Scout Troop 6085 presented to the Village Board an action project to cleanup and help beautify the new trail. The girls presented pictures of debris that has littered the area as well as junk uncovered during the construction. They stated they would like to cleanup the area and plant flowers. Would the Village approve and help in some way? The Village Board indicated their deep appreciation of their interest in keeping our community looking great and the spirit of to cleanup the site. The Village will assist with advertising when the cleaning will be done so other interested persons can also assist in this endeavor. The Village will also provide a dumpster for the items to be put into. Congratulations to having a great idea!
